Shih Tzu dogs are typically kept as pets for their companionship, and not as work dogs, which makes Shih Tzu training somewhat easier. Also, a great way to help prevent your pup from waking you and the whole household up a million times a night is to avoid giving them food and limit their water intake for a few hours before bedtime.
